OpenFACILIS Main and Administration Modules
Event Management Features
- Graphical workflow management - OpenFACILIS provides a graphical tree-structure to its workflow management that enables users to drag-and-drop workflow components within the defined workflow. Users can also drag new workflow items from the defined process workflow list and drop the items into an open workflow to add new events or groups of events.
- Selectable event verification trigger points - Each event in OpenFACILIS can be configured to have its validation options triggered at different points in the event's lifecycle. This allows the event to be tested for situations like open money issues, other events that are on hold, related entities that are on hold, and several others at either the adding of the event or the completion of the event.
- Integrated event cycle management - Being able to track how many times a set of events are processed, such as building permit plan submittals, is a critical aspect to performance and productivity management. OpenFACILIS provides the ability to track recurring process segments and report on the aspects of those cycles.
- User-defined-fields for each event type - Each type of event can have a unique set of user-defined fields available for entry by users. This allows the event to expand its available information to meet the needs of the related process.
- Flexible email sending by event type - Events can be configured to automatically send emails to established lists of roles associated with the process. Each email message can have its own format and information related to the process can be inserted into the emails to customize them for each process' recipients.
- Date groups for easy event flow configuration - Events are very date driven and often need a different set of dates. OpenFACILIS accommodates this by allowing the configuration of sets of dates that are then assigned to event types. An unlimited number of date sets can be created and each set can be used on any number of event types.
- Event action group with multiple action steps - Events often need to have special processing take place at points within the event's lifecycle. OpenFACILIS allows for the creation of Action Groups that allow for processing of specialized operations and can be triggered by a variety of actions.
- Definable function calls per event type - In addition to the Action Groups, special system and site-defined functions can be called by actions on the event and provide a wide range of functional extensions to the event.
