Point-Of-Sale and Payment Features
- Integrated point-of-sale checkout system - OpenFACILIS includes an integrated point-of-sale module called Check-Out. Check-Out allows any workstation to act as a cashier station, when allowed by security, and each user has the ability to execute payment operations for customers.
- Configured for direct credit card processing - Check-Out incorporates a credit card processing integration with the X-Charge processing service. Other services can be integrated through changes to the application server.
- Flexible non-process item configuration - Many organizations need to handle sales of non-process items like copies, water bill payments, etc. Check-Out can be configured to accept payments for any kind of inventory based item or non-inventory items like water or sewer bill payments.
- Ability to allow selected non-process items to have user entered rates - The non-inventory items can be configured to allow the operator to enter the value for the item. This is especially useful when the item being paid for is of a unique amount to the transaction like water bills.
- Signature capture support - OpenFACILIS comes configured to allow the use of electronic signature capture devices to collect signatures from entities related to transactions. Check-out and events are setup to associate signatures with related transaction events.
- Slip printer support - Because of the flexibility in the BIRT reporting tool, slip printers can be configured as network printers and receipts can be sent to the slip printer from Check-Out operations.
